We begin with detailed assessments across the core curriculum to pinpoint any gaps in your child's learning. We set clear, achievable half-termly targets and conduct repeat assessments each term to help you effectively monitor and track progress over time

Core Skill Focus: Receive two dedicated lessons per week focused on essential English  and Maths skills.

Professional Delivery: Each lesson is delivered 1:1 by one of our SEN experts with additional, proven experience in one or more of the following roles: SENCO, Dyslexia Assessor, Teacher in a Special Educational Needs School.

Flexible Format: Lesson time and length is flexible. They can be delivered either in-person at home or conveniently online.

Evidenced-Based Methods: Our lessons use high-quality resources and evidenced-based methods specifically designed to support children in overcoming barriers to learning, such as the cognitive overload often experienced in the  mainstream classroom.

Each lesson will be followed with a session report that clearly outline the teaching delivered and the progress made. These reports are invaluable tools for both you and your local authority to efficiently track and document your child's learning journey.

Consolidate learning with carefully designed homework activities set to reinforce the taught  lessons providing opportunity for practice and over-learning core English  and Maths skills. 

We utilize established, evidence-based intervention programs that are personalized to your child’s profile, helping to systematically address specific barriers to learning. This could include:

• Zones of Regulation for Emotional Regulation. Teaching self-awareness and strategies for managing feelings and states of alertness. 
• Colourful Semantics:  Structuring sentences and developing vocabulary and grammatical understanding using a colour-coded system. 
• Match, Select and Name: systematic instruction for teaching reading skills.
• Word Aware: An approach used to promote vocabulary acquisition. 

Engaging  Online Access: We provide your child with sign-in access  to online resources for fun, game-based learning, including popular platforms like TTRockstars and Spelling Frame, reinforcing key skills outside of lesson time.

Essential Visual Aids: We supply a pack of key visuals that you can print at home. This pack includes important tools and reference aids to help your child with reading, spelling, writing, and mathematics.

Social & Emotional Tools:  This could include Visual Timetables: To provide structure, predictability, and reduce anxiety around transitions; Reward Charts: Personalized motivation tools to reinforce positive behaviours and learning engagement; Social Stories: Carefully crafted narratives to teach appropriate social skills, explain new situations, and prepare for changes and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs): Bespoke plans developed by the SEN expert to manage challenging behaviours proactively and consistently.
