T for Teacher is a premium private tutoring service. We offer SEN-friendly lesson delivered by a dedicated Team of Fully Qualified Teachers and SEN Specialists. Our approach to teaching is rooted in educational learning theory and designed to reduce the cognitive load placed on our pupils. We firmly believe that teaching methods proven effective for children facing the greatest learning challenges benefit all. Our services are tailored through three tiers of support to meet each child's specific needs, ranging from solidifying the National Curriculum to implementing targeted interventions and more specialist support which includes offering diagnostic dyslexia assessments. While we offer in-person tutoring across Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, and Northamptonshire, our high-quality, personalised support is also available online to learners everywhere.
1:1 primary tutoring by one of our fully qualified and experienced classroom teachers under the guidance of Emily or Special Educational Needs Lead and founder. All lessons are delivered in the comfort of your own home in-person or online.
Off-peak lessons are available at a reduced cost of £37.00 between 8:30 am - 2pm Monday-Friday.
Peak Demand Lessons are delivered at a cost of £47.00 between 2pm - 8:pm.
Lessons are available on a Saturday and Sunday at a cost of £55.00
Lessons last for approximately 55 minutes to allow a time buffer between clients. First 15 minutes of travel is free. Please be aware that additional charges may be applied for travel times exceeding this. Off-Peak lessons are excluded from all promotional prices and discounts displayed.
1:1 private tutoring by one of our SEN Specialist tutors. Not only are they fully qualified and experienced teachers, but they also have additional experience teaching children with a range of SEN. This includes lessons with Emily, our founder and former SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and Emma, who has taught in specialist SEN settings. All lessons are delivered in the comfort of your own home in-person or online.
Off-peak lessons are available at a reduced cost of £42.00 between 8:30 am - 2pm Monday-Friday.
Peak Demand Lessons are delivered at a cost of £52.00 between 2pm - 8:pm.

1:1 private tutoring by Hanna or Emma with additional qualifications in teaching children with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Both are members of the British Dyslexia Association.
Lessons are delivered in person between the hours of 9am - 6pm.
Lessons are delivered in person between the hours of 10am - 5pm.

An Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) is a legally binding document that outlines a child's additional needs: it establishes both the provision, and funding, required to meet these needs. As parents, you are entitled to submit an application for an EHC Needs Assessment but the process can often be confusing and time consuming. At TforTeacher we can support you through the entire process, from drafting the application, to writing the outcomes, and agreeing a final plan.
Referral processes to seek additional support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can be some what of a minefield. At TforTeacher, you can benefit from the expertise and experience of a former SENCO to support you in completing paperwork for Disability Living Allowance, CAMHS, NHS SaLT, SENSS, Occupational Therapy and more.
It is our mission to ensure that every child gets a quality education, regardless of their starting point. For £100.00, a former SENCO can create a comprehensive pupil profile for you to share with relevant professionals. Each profile will provide a summary of a pupil's SEN, a diagnostic breakdown of a pupil's strengths and areas for development; and suggest effective support strategies, interventions and carefully considered SMART targets to work on.
