My name is Hannah, a fully qualified teacher, dyslexia teacher and dyslexia assessor based just outside Banbury in Oxfordshire. Having qualified as a Primary School teacher in 2012, I spent over 6 years as a classroom teacher and have additional experience as Phonics coordinator. I also have extensive experience teaching children with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, Speech and language difficulties and global delay. For the past 6 years I have worked as a teacher in a resource base, supporting children with various needs to access education.
In June 2023, I qualified as a specialist teacher teaching children and young people with literacy difficulties. I am able to produce and teach individualised lessons for students who have literacy difficulties. Following an assess, plan, do review approach I adopt multi-sensory approaches to enable children and young people to discover their strengths and understand their challenges and learn strategies to unlock learning within education and beyond.
I also hold an Assessment Practicing Certificate (APS) and am able to assess and for and produce diagnostic dyslexia reports. These reports can be used within educational settings to provide additional support for your child / young person across the curriculum.

I’m Ashleigh. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 5 years experience working across a range of year groups. I graduated from the Open University with first class honours having studied half my course in Primary learning and teaching and the other in Maths, English Grammar and French. I went on to gain my QTS whilst working as an unqualified teacher in a school and excelled as an Early career teacher, leading on curriculum topics and supporting other newly qualified teachers in their first years of training.
I have spent much of my time working in year 6 and have an extensive knowledge of the KS2 SAT’s testing. I strive to ensure children make accelerated progress, whatever their starting point and am keen to support children to succeed in a range of subjects including maths, reading, writing and wider non-core topics. I strongly believe in creating a supportive environment whereby mistakes are encouraged and form the basis of learning. ‘To fail is the first step in learning. To succeed, we must fail first!’
Whether you are looking for additional support outside of school hours or to share the load of homeschooling, I am here to help!
Qualified teacher and Ashleigh.
I'm Jourdan. I’m a fully qualified primary school teacher with six years of experience teaching in the UK and internationally. I’ve worked mainly in Key Stage 2, teaching Year 3 to Year 6 across two different curriculums, which has really broadened my understanding of how children learn best. My experience has taught me how to adapt lessons to suit different learning needs, and how to help each child feel seen and supported.
For the past four years, I’ve worked abroad with children from a wide range of backgrounds, many of whom speak English as an additional language or have special educational needs. This has helped shape a flexible and thoughtful teaching style that always puts the child first.
I believe that before children can make progress, they need to feel secure, confident, and understood. That’s why I focus on building trust and developing each child’s sense of self-belief. Once a child feels confident, they become far more open to learning and more willing to try.
My tutoring sessions are adventurous, engaging, and tailored to the individual. Whether your child needs help catching up, growing their confidence, or deepening their understanding in subjects like reading or maths, I’m here to help them thrive. Not just academically, but personally too.
